Wave Action Erosion along the Olympic Discovery Trail has exposed ancient bones on three separate occasions in January. A forensic archaeologist determined that the bones are between 500 and 1,000 years old, and on January 31, officials from the state’s Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation confirmed that the bones are of Native American origin.
