Beloved Kule Loklo structures saved from Woodward Fire

SFGate: As the Woodward Fire continues to burn in Point Reyes, firefighters worked on Sunday to save some of the seashore’s most popular and beloved structures, the Kule Loklo near the Bear Valley Visitor Center. Photographs show them being saved during a significant “burn out” as the wildfire continues to spread nearby. On Monday morning, August 31st 2020, officials report the Woodward Fire had burned 3,269 acres and was 17% contained. There are 585 personnel fighting the blaze.
