The Audubon Society just published a very informative article about where and how the feathers for Regalia and religious ceremonies, etc. are gathered. “Tribal aviaries provide a legal supply of Bald and Golden Eagle feathers for ceremonial use, but not enough—so poachers put wild birds in peril.” Read the full story on the Audubon Society website.
